Meet Our Church Staff
Jason Dunham
Pastor
Pastor Jason C. Dunham came to Swift Creek Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor in September 2020. Pastor Jason has earned his B.A. and his Master’s from Ashford University in Organizational Leadership. Pastor Jason graduated with his second Master’s degree in Practical Theology with a concentration in Church and Ministry Leadership from the School of Divinity at Regent University where he is currently working on his Ph.D. in Ministry with a concentration in Church and Ministry Leadership.
Jason is a U.S Veteran and retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2013 after 20 years of faithful and honorable service to our country. His hobbies include BBQing and grilling, and he enjoys all things that are Christmas. Jason is married to Melinda Dunham (Lindy) for over 25 years, and they have two daughters Savannah and Sadie.

Jae Kim
Pianist and Interim Music Director
Jae Kim graduated from SookMyung Women’s University in South Korea (BM) and served as a teaching assistant. Then she moved to Oklahoma in 2008 and graduated from Oklahoma City University(MM) with full tuition scholarship and Honors. Jae has competed in many competitions and won first prize at the South America Piano Competition in South Korea, Seoul City Music Competition in Seoul City, Pa-Ju City Piano Competition in Pa-Ju City, Oklahoma City University Concerto Competition. She has also received third prize in the Estonian National Music Competition held by the Estonian National Academy of Music.

Over the past several years, Jae has played many recitals and joined with the SookMyung Women’s University Orchestra at the Concerto Festival, Young Artist Concert at Young-San Art Hall, Concerto Festival at Aramnuri Hall in Go-yang City.

From 2012, Jae has worked at Oklahoma City University as a staff accompanist and adjunct faculty. She also played for lessons, master classes, recitals, and university choirs. She also held a private studio in Oklahoma City, taught as head of piano department at Oklahoma Conservatory of Music and joined in OMTA and MTNA. Jae moved to North Carolina in 2017 where she has played for Triangle Area Suzuki Education and had a private studio in Raleigh. In 2019, Jae joined the staff at Swift Creek Baptist Church as a pianist.
Philip Burnett
Director of Children and Youth
Philip Burnett and his wife Maegan joined Swift Creek Baptist Church on November 23rd, 2025. Philip graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Christian Missions from College of the Ozarks in 2013. He is currently finishing his Master of Arts in Church Planting at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Philip was born in Missouri and has lived in MO, KY, and Mexico before moving to NC for Seminary. He currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife. The Lord saved him at a young age and has been sanctifying him ever since. Some of his hobbies include reading, especially missiology and Fantasy novels; sports, especially soccer; playing board games; watching Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies; and traveling to new places to explore, and learning more about the people and culture of that place. He can't wait to get to know you more!
Susan Moore
Finance
Susan Moore joined Swift Creek Baptist Church in 1975. She had recently moved from Caroleen, NC to Raleigh for her husband to attend NC State. She retired from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources after more than 30 years of service.

In 2007, Susan agreed to temporarily fill in as the church's financial secretary. That temporary volunteer position lasted for 7 years. Since then, Susan has become a permanent member of the staff. Susan has been married to Buddy for over 50 years. Together they have three children, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Eloise Garland
Custodian
Eloise is the one who takes care of making sure everything is in order and inviting to members and guests. She takes much pride in keeping the common areas clean and tidy. You will often see Eloise inspecting the sanctuary just to make sure everything is in order.
Debra Vick
Ministry Assistant
Debra has been working with Swift Creek Baptist Church since 2018. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know the members of Swift Creek and working closely with them.
